With expo disc set white balance and the pasta sauce that was dinner that night.
Lighting in our kitchen is a mess and a super pain to get white balance good. Expo disc solves it easily though!

Supposed to be the closest the moon will get in my lifetime. so why not try it with just the 200mm lens. hmm...auto exposure seems to fail here.
Good old "Sunny F/16" works pretty well though on the full moon.
Another try to see if I could hold the camera steadier. Yeah, a tripod would have helped but come on not bad for a handheld moon shot.

Grrr, expo disc is in the other room...oh well, I can correct from the RAW's later. wanted to get a shot of Katie hugging the unicorn Tommy gave her.
unfortunatley she was all hugged out by the time i got the camera.
Used the expo for these...but they came out surprisingly blue for some reason...either I messed up setting the manual WB or it was just the shadows throwing things off since most of the colors do look accurate....other than Katie looking like she's been holding her breath or choking.
Put her in her crib for a few minutes when I had to run out the office to check something...she was nice and quiet while I was at the computer...but this is what I found when I walked in her room.

and this is why she was so quiet about it. wonder how long until she tries to climb out ;(
