Looks just as bad with flash....
Guess this git is just going to have some built in character right from the start!
Had to experiment with different saw blades to find something that would give me a .023" slot. The coping saw does it, but is hard to keep straight even with the miter box. Plus the miter box clears a .025" blade I tried first. But the slots look like they should work out.
With the fret board cut and sized I wanted to take advantage of the sun getting low.
Sun was good, but needed a bit of fill.
Too bad it's hard to not overdo fill with this camera and it's limited settings.
Still need to figure out what I'm going to do for a nut.
Inside is fairly clean. I kept the neck off the soundboard except about 1/4" at each end for mounting. The neck is also angled back just a little to account for the pull of the strings. It's almost a full bolt together design, but I'm probably going to glue it all after I string it up and test it once.
